The fusion of Clarks’ heritage with the distinctive prints and exotic colour palette of Eley Kishimoto makes this collaboration unforgettable.

What was the inspiration behind your SS13 collection?
Our SS13 collection is an embrace of minimalism and freshness. We have been inspired by the simplicity of photographic work from Ina Young, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
What can we expect to see from Furansu in the future?
Expect to see minimal designs with a playful aesthetic, the perfect knitwear future. Here at Furansu we are committed to delivering high quality knitwear with a twist, producing elegant fashion with edgy design.
Which other designers do you rate and why?
We respect and appreciate many designers, brands and new talents. Antwerp Six, Chanel, Jil Sander, Celine, Yoji Yamamoto and Comme des Garcons are all an endless source of inspiration. Among the plethora of talents in fashion, Philip Lim & Damir Doma always bring us modern and stylish collections whilst managing to present in their own signature. We have a massive soft spot for Scandinavian brands, ACNE is of course one of the iconic brands and also COS.
Where do you like to shop?
Quirky second hand shops, vintage flea markets and concept stores which are not just including known brands but also supporting new talents.
Do your designs reflect your own dress sense?
In General Yes. We also like to mix & match a lot of the high and street fashion. Luxury designer wear with vintage steals.
What’s your ultimate aim for the Furansu brand?
The ultimate goal is to have Furansu clothing in every fashionistas closet across the globe, of course!
